The programme for Y/CON 12 is starting to take shape!
We are delighted to announce that T. Pralinus and Julia Popek will be among our speakers.
A writer for young people and adults, illustrator, researcher and videographer with multiple pseudonyms, T. Pralinus divides his time between creative work and sharing his knowledge. For her part, Julia Popek is an author and specialist in the history of female-oriented manga (shōjo manga and its derivatives). Her work explores themes such as sapphism, the uncanny, horror and eroticism.
T.Pralinus will lead the talk ‘Yaoi in France: a queer fictional parasite shaped by community practices’. He will also co-host the talk “Boyish: the butch characters of yuri” with Julia Popek.
The dates and times of these talks will be announced shortly. Please note that Julia Popek will only be present on Sunday.
