T. Pralinus is an author and illustrator of novels and comic books, and holds a PhD in French literature, having completed a thesis on yaoi in France in 2025. He has been sharing his research and reflections on queer and girly pop culture online since 2014, and co-founded the collectives Dis, Nana… and Kira Kira Club, which organise discussions and meet-ups centred on manga viewed through the same queer and girly lens.
