ALYEKA

Graou! Iâm Alyeka, gothic dragoness/cosplayer/model/lolita since 2013.
Iâve always preferred to adapt the characters I play to my own vision rather than trying to reproduce them as faithfully as possible, and I attach great importance to the way my characters are interpreted.
My worlds range from manga to films/series, video games, artists, medieval and fantasy.
I look forward to meeting you all at the Y/CON and sharing our worlds with you.
AM BRAWNE

A librarian living in Switzerland, A.M. Brawne writes to escape but also to represent people who are like her. As a handicraftswoman, she is committed to writing about a wide range of subjects in a way that is both engaging and entertaining.
AXELL

Axell has been a creator of Queer, Crips, Fols* and anti-capitalist video games since 2016. They are not looking to create industrial games, but art games that promote values such as slowness, anti-productivity, uselessness and queerness. They trained themself to be able to realize almost every aspect of a game: game design, images and programming. They are a member of the Gamaturgie and Pang Pang Club.
Also an illustrator, they are interested in the representation of in video games, illustration and comics. They specialize in traditional graphic styles, particularly watercolor.
PhD student, Axell studies validism and psychophobia in video games. Their aim is both to criticize what already exists and to create emancipatory emancipatory and/or utopian games, and the development of tools to encourage the creation of anti-validist games.
At the same time, they are an activist for queer, trans, crazy, anti-validist and ecological struggles.
But all this is done slowly, because being disabled and crazy is already a full-time job.
CLĂMENCE ALBĂRIE

Clémence Albérie, from Albi in the Tarn region of France, grew up with an older brother and twin sister. With a degree in agricultural engineering, she simplifies the description of her work by saying that she works on various agricultural issues, with and for farmers.
Clémence mainly writes romance, sometimes light-hearted, sometimes more profound. What she really cares about is telling life stories, talking about the extraordinary destinies of our ordinary lives. She gets attached to each of her heroines and likes to delve into their personalities and characters to work with realistic heroines with whom she can identify. For Clémence, nothing stands in the way of her writing, not the flaws, dramas, complexes or difficulties her characters may go through. She likes to tackle themes that are important to her, such as trauma and the complexes we all have, and turn them into strengths that serve her characters.
ClĂ©mence believes that we create our own destiny and that life is what we decide to make of it, and thatâs what she likes to write about in her novels. When we have a goal in life, itâs up to us to make it a reality, but to do that we mustnât be afraid to take the plunge! Whether in love, work or friendship, you have to accept that life can be scary, but realise that it is full of thousands of opportunities that you have to seize without looking back or down. For her, this philosophy of life has enabled her, among other things, to see her anonymous writings become a book of ink and paper that she can hold in her hands.
ELLEN KUSHNER

Ellen Kushner is a queer American writer whose second home is France. She and her wife, the writer Delia Sherman, live in New York City when they are not traveling elsewhere.

It formed part of Pierre Duboisâ âBibliotheque FĂ©eriqueâ at Editions Hoebeke, with an introduction by Claudine Glot. Subsequent editions by Folio SF and Editions ActuSF.
Her now classic queer novel Swordspoint (Calmann-Levy/Livre de Poche/Editions ActuSF), which George R.R. Martin calls âformidable, unforgettable,â was published in 2019 by Editions ActuSF in a special edition with an introduction by Stephanie Nicot. This edition contains connected short stories never before seen in French, plus original material written by Kushner specifically for the French volume, not available in any other language. Its sequel, The Privilege of the sword, was also translated by Patrick Marcel, as was her related story, Un jeune homme de mauvaise vie ( Fictions no 17), which won the Prix Imaginales de la meilleure nouvelle 2014.
FINNCOS

As a passionate cosplayer with over 10 yearsâ experience, Iâve had the opportunity to explore a multitude of fascinating aspects of cosplay. My journey has led me to immerse myself in armour-making, where Iâve learned to wield a variety of materials to create pieces that combine aesthetics and functionality. I also honed my wig-making skills, learning how to style and colour wigs to bring my favourite characters to life.
My adventure led me to explore the world of ero cosplay, where I was able to experiment with more daring and artistic costumes, as well as getting into crossplay, which allowed me to step out of my comfort zone by embodying characters from different genres. Iâve even had the chance to work in the professional cosplay field, taking part in various events and competitions, which has provided me with enriching experiences and unforgettable encounters.
Through my travels and encounters, Iâve not only developed my technical skills, but also forged valuable links with other enthusiasts. Iâd be delighted to share all these experiences, tips and tricks with you, whether youâre a beginner or a veteran cosplayer.
