Synopsis

Saira is an anxious, introverted princess from Clitopolis, a matriarchal lesbian planet in a distant galaxy. She embarks on an inter-gay-lactic quest in the hope of winning back her ex-girlfriend Kiki, who has been kidnapped by the Straight White Maliens.

With Lesbian Space Princess, their first multi-award-winning feature — most notably recognized at the 2025 Berlinale — Australian filmmakers Emma Hough Hobbs and Leela Varghese invite us aboard a wildly irreverent and offbeat space opera. Bursting with bright, tangy pop colors, the film unfolds a proudly camp universe packed with hilarious dialogue and brimming with queer and feminist pop culture references. Get ready for a screening that’s as refreshing as it is unforgettable!

LIVE. LAUGH. LESBIAN.
